Making a national impact with EA publications
Our infant church might be on
hiatus as we regroup, refocus, and
prepare for re-launch, but that
doesn't mean that Pastor Ron and
our faith community isn't making a
national impact.

In August, Pastor Ron and Deanna
were asked to serve as editors of
the Evangelical Association's 2009-
2010 Desk Calendar.  The national
publication was released  to rave reviews Sept. 18-20 at the EA's
National Convocation in Louisville, KY.  While attending Convocation,
Pastor Ron was asked to film segments from worship to be included in
the EA's national website. Deanna converted the video footage into
mpeg files which Pastor Ron uploaded to YouTube so they could be
published online.   Check out  what happend
here.

Merge may only be a dream budding, but right here in Spencerville
we're making a nationwide impact among EA churches in Jesus' name!

Global Impact Partner rebuilds after Haiti
earthquake
The massive earthquake and after
shocks that rocked the island nation of
Haiti on January 12 has greatly
impacted one of our Global Impact
Partners: In The Father's Hand
Children's Home located in Port-de-Paix
and run by missionaries Keith & Cindy
Lashbrook.
Cindy Lashbrook reported that the
mission's church and school facility
(pictured top right) had to be torn down
due to damage caused by the
earthquake.

As a result, the Lashbrook's through
help from Globe International built a
new multi-purpose building to house
the church and school pictured at right.

Continue to place the Lashbrooks,
their ministry partners and the children
in their misson in your prayers.  To get
current updates on how things are
going, check out the ministry's
Facebook page.  Online donations may
also be made via the ministry's website.
The EA's Mid-West Regional Gathering was an inspiring event for EA
clergy and laity from around Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan.
Pastor Ron and Deanna video taped the event for the EA website.
